The Historic Speech of 7th March

৭ই মার্চের ভাষণ ঐতিহাসিক ভাষণ হিসেবে পরিচিত। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ভাষণ দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি ভাষণ দিয়েছিলেন রেসকোর্স ময়দানে। এদিন এই ভাষণ শুনেছেন দুই কোটিরও বেশি মানুষ। তারা ওই স্থানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এটি এমন এক সময় ছিল যখন পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের সামরিক স্থাপনা এবং রাজনৈতিক মধ্যে উত্তেজনা দেখা দেয়। এ ভাষণে তিনি বলেছেন এবারের সংগ্রাম আমাদের স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রাম। ভাষণটি ছিল বাঙালির জন্য বিশেষ। মুক্তিযুদ্ধে জয়লাভের জন্য এটি ছিল তাদের অনুপ্রেরণা। ভাষণটি মানুষকে একাত্তরে সংগ্রামের জন্য আন্দোলন করতে উত্সাহিত করেছিল। তিনি স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রাম শুরু করার জন্য আওয়াজ তুলেছেন। ভাষণে দেশের স্বাধীনতা ঘোষণা করা হয়। দেশকে পাকিস্তানমুক্ত করতে জনগণ একত্রিত হয়েছে। সব বয়সের মানুষ মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশ নিয়েছে। তারা দেশকে শত্রুমুক্ত করেছে। ভাষণটি দেশের প্রতিটি নাগরিকের হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে গেছে। তার বক্তব্য সারাদেশের মানুষকে পথ দেখিয়েছে। দেশ গড়ার কাজে নাগরিকরা অংশ নিয়েছেন। ভাষণটি ইউনেস্কো কর্তৃক স্বীকৃত। সারা বিশ্বের মানুষ এই ভাষণটিকে ঐতিহাসিক ভাষণ হিসেবে জানে। স্বাধীনতা দিবসের মতো জাতীয় দিবসে সকালে ভাষণ বাজানো হয়। এটি বিশ্বের তথ্যচিত্রের একটি অংশ। বক্তৃতা উচ্চ মূল্য পেয়েছে। ভাষণ সমগ্র জাতির সাহস।
