Adopting unfair means in the examination has become a matter of great concern for the country. Though it is not a new thing. It has assumed a fearful shape. These unfair means include copying using mobile phone and Internet. taking the facility of leaked questions, etc. There are many causes behind adopting these unfair means in the examination such as teacher's indifference to the students, lack of expert teachers, students' moral degradations, guardians' indifference to their children, terrorism in the educational institutions. lack of proper examination system, teachers' moral degeneration, lack of proper laws and enactment of laws, etc. The effects of unfair means in the examinations upon the nation are very deep and fearful. Because the students who pass examinations without studying properly, are devoid of academic knowledge. They possess certificates but no knowledge. These students cannot contribute to development of the nation. These students failing in the competition to get jobs, become depressed and resort to various anti- social activities such as terrorism, drug addiction, toll collection, abduction, stealing, robbery, etc. Moreover, those who get employed in important posts through bribing, political and social power. nepotism, etc. cannot carry out their responsibilities properly. Consequently, the nation suffers greatly. If this evil practice goes on, the nation will get weak and devoid of skilled or properly educated people. As a result, there will be administrative weakness in the country. Most importantly, we will not get proficient scientists, doctors, engineers, lawyers, politicians who are the main powers of a nation. Then common people will undergo great sufferings. Even the Independence of the country, might face the threat of getting lost. So, the government and people from all walks of life must come forward to eradicate this curse from educational institutions.
